Our Impact

I am Muzammil’s father from Malappuram. I am a coolie worker. My family consists of my parents, younger brother, my wife and son. In my family, only I go for work.

My child Muzammil is a heart patient. So in this situation, I was helpless when I came to know that a huge amount was needed for my child’s treatment.

We had received help from Amrita Hospital earlier also, so I contacted Patient Services. I am thankful for their sanctioning Rs. 100,000 for curing my child’s ailment.

I am Vineeth hailing from Thrissur. At home, I have my parents, brother, wife and my new born baby. I go for painting work and I am the only earning member in my family.

My father is a heart patient and we need a good amount for his treatment. We have a Rs. 500,000 housing loan. It was during this situation my daughter was born.

We came to Amrita Hospital as we were informed about my daughter’s heart disease. A huge amount was needed for my daughter’s treatment, but it was impossible for me to arrange it.

Amrita granted Rs.100,000 towards the treatment expenses. My child’s surgery was possible only due to their kindness and I will always be thankful for the blessings showered on us.

I am Mohammed Mustafa coming from Malappuram. My son was born after taking many IVF treatments for the past ten years. But when he was born, he had many diseases, so we were directed to Amrita Hospital for further medical management.

The doctor there advised a very expensive surgery. We became upset and didn’t know what to do. My family includes my parents, five sisters, three brothers, my wife, child and myself. We do coolie (manual labor) work, so the amount needed for my son’s surgery was beyond our reach.

It was during that time we came to know that there was a patient services office in the hospital for helping the poor. Due to their kindness, we got Rs 100,000 sanctioned towards my son’s treatment expenses for which we express our heartfelt love.

When my son Akhil was brought to Amrita Hospital, he was in a very critical condition. We had gone to two other hospitals earlier, but we didn’t get proper care from them.

After coming to Amrita, my son got excellent attention, treatment and care from all the staff. Since we belong to a very poor family, the treatment expenses were beyond our reach.

I am Shanmughan from Ernakulam. I was a coolie worker. My family consists of my wife, two children and myself. I had an accident during my work and since then I couldn’t go for any work. During that time, my friends and relatives helped me to meet our daily needs. Even then, I had a huge amount of debt and was in great sorrow.

But when our child was born, we became happy. Yet it didn’t last for long, as we came to know that our darling child had heart disease. We went to a hospital in Thrissur, but we didn’t receive any help there, so we came to Amrita Hospital.

We were informed that there was no other option than surgery for my child. The cost of the surgery would Rs.350,000. But my family could never even dream of arranging this huge amount, so we contacted Patient Services.

Due to their help, we got our child’s life back. Now there is smile on my child’s face due to Amrita’s kindness. I humbly acknowledge my gratitude for granting us free treatment worth Rs 350,000 for our daughter.
